Le Lodge between sea and tropical garden

this cocoon is hidden in the Cul de Sac Bay. Out of sight with a magnificent seaview - the lodge has a tropical spirit and a homely feel. Minutes after arrival, you feel at home. Abandon your cares, lay idly in the small hidden swimming pool or on the lounge admiring the small and bright Cul de Sac bay, or as evening falls listen to the soft melody of sailboats slowly rocking in the cool breeze. The inside of the lodge is designed as a mini loft. It has a wide fully equipped kitchen which opens onto a large deck covered by a sail. The large bedroom touches a tropical garden. Live as a local! Awesome!

Cul de Sac is a residential area with small houses. It is a small village where everybody knows each other.

In the evening before the nightfall, take advantage of the freshness in the air, children playing, families walking with their babies and or their dogs - Watch as people casually walking and joggers pass you by. Admire the view of the wild beach, go trekking or simply live at the same pace of the neighbours! You are welcome. Close to everything and far from the hustle and bustle of the island, everything is very easy to get to. Pinel island is accessible by local boat, stand-up paddle or kayak. Orient Bay beach, Anse Marcel Beach, and Grand Case (the gastronomical capital of the Caribbean) are all a few minutes away. This is an ideal place to rest and take complete advantage completely of the Saint Martin way of life.

Très jolie petite maison contemporaine en bois avec une belle terrasse qui domine la baie de cul de sac. Tout est neuf et meublé avec goût, Marion nous a très bien accueillis pour cette semaine de détente. Le lodge est idéalement situé à proximité d'Orient bay, d'Anse Marcel et de Grand Case. Certes il n'y a pas de page à proximité directe mais c'est plutôt un avantage car cela oblige à bouger pour découvrir toutes les superbes plages de l'île. Une mini piscine privée permet quand même de se rafraîchir si nécessaire (et de siroter un apéritif pour profiter des derniers rayons de soleil). Vraiment je recommande !

The lodge is just as beautiful as it is pictured, very clean, and the views were great. The location was perfect for us, commuting to different parts of the island didn't take long at all and the wifi worked really well. Marion was very accommodating and was always available when needed.

We had the most amazing week at Lodge "Au fil de L'eau". It is even more beautiful than the pictures and incredibly peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing. Marion was a wonderful host. It is close to beautiful beaches and hikes and feels very private. Can't recommend it enough.

We were extremely impressed with the lodge and all of its amenities. When we first arrived (with helpful directions that Marion provided us with), Marion's husband was there to greet us and show us around the lodge and its workings. The lodge is just as pictured, if not even more beautiful considering the surrounding scenery of the water and mountains, and also very clean and well-kept. We felt right at home. We did run into an issue with the running water no longer working for about 10-15 minutes, but I contacted Marion right away and she responded promptly. There is also convenient parking right across the road as we found navigating around the island in a car rental was best. While the location of the lodge feels like you're in a private getaway, you're just minutes away from the beach by car, and driving into town for groceries, shops, restaurants takes about 15-20 minutes. If we ever visit St. Martin again we will definitely consider staying at this lodge again or one of Marion's other properties.

Marion was incredibly attentive to our needs. She had great restaurant suggestions and local adventures to explore. But the best experience overall was her quick response. If we needed something at the rental I would email her. She was knocking on our door less than 5 minutes! That is crazy fast service. I've never stayed at a 5 star hotel before, but I'd doubt they respond as quickly as Marion. She made our honeymoon everything we expected and more. The listing was exactly as described with no surprises. The pictures definitely described the rental too the "T," so to speak. The king bed was extremely comfortable, the induction stove top cooked food extremely fast, and the natural spring pool was relaxing. If you are traveling with a plus one, this place is hard to pass up. The lodge is located just 3 minutes from the boat dock to ride over to Pinel Island which is always a must.

Oasis in a quiet corner of the island with 10-minute drive access to the best French-side beaches. Brilliant, simple design is what a vacation cottage should be. There is some truck traffic on the road and a few other rentals nearby, but the double-pane windows ensure quiet when needed. When it's hot, the plunge pool and AC rock; when cooler, the place opens up to let the sea air in. Hosts were lovely - helped coordinate car rental and also an excellent day trip via catamaran.

We had a great time at the lodge. Marion was always accessible and gave us great tips on where to go and what to do. The space is very well decorated and also had wifi and tv. There were no security issues. On our last day we were able to tour Marion's villa which is also beautiful.

The Lodge is as pictured, clean, luminous, spacious, peaceful and well located in Northern part of the island, close to Orient beach, Pinel Island and Grand Case. The outdoor area is very well designed, with nice vegetation. Marion and her husband Manu are truly kind and helpful, gave us great advices on where to go, what to do, where to eat etc. really trustworthy as they know the island pretty well ! Wifi worked well at all times, we didn't have any security issue at all during our stay. It's easy to get some food supplies with several supermarkets 5 minutes away by car. A car is necessary, ask Marion for advice on that too, she's got great connexions. Strongly recommend.

Marion was a great host. She even picked us up and organized a rental car for us. If we had a question she was there within a few minutes. The house is very cosy and a has everything you need for haveing a great time. We loved the design and the taste of Marion for interior details. Because the house is in a residential area you need a car to get around and for grocery shopping.

Everything was perfect. Marion was sweet and very helpful in providing us with recommendations on places to go. The apartment itself was exactly as we imagined it. My wife loved it which earned me some points since I planned the trip. She even offered us her personal Apple TV which was so nice of her to do since the listing mentioned there was no TV, let alone one with an Apple TV. The location was ideal if you want to be near some of the sexiest beaches on the island (Pinel Island is one example). I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would come back and stay here again. Thank you so much for everything Marion. I hope you continue to serve as a host to future guests so that they are left with the same unforgettable impression of not just the island but the people and their courteous hospitality. Parking was ideal, distance to supermarket ideal and the size of the place was ideal for a couple or possible a three person family. Again, highly recommend and think this place is a sure winner.

De lodge is precies zo als op de fotos is weergegeven. Ruim, functioneel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooi uitzicht op een baai en vlakbij orient beach en grand case (leuke plaats om te dineren!). Ook was de supermarkt dichtbij. We zouden het huisje willen aanbevelen voor 2 volwassenen en maximaal 1 kind. Huurauto is een must.
